Terms of Service

1. ACCEPTANCE

Your access and use of Bahut Limited's Chappie application and related services (collectively, the "Chappie Services") are subject to the following Terms of Service. By downloading, accessing, or using the Chappie Services, you are fully accepting and agreeing to these terms, conditions, and disclaimers. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, you may not use the Chappie Services.

2. DEFINITIONS

"Confidential Information" means all information related to Chappie, Bahut Limited, and its business, including but not limited to techniques, schematics, designs, contracts, financial information, sales and marketing plans, and other proprietary data.

3. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible to use the Chappie Services, you must be at least 18 years old. If you are between the ages of 13 and 18, you may only use the Chappie Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian who agrees to be bound by these Terms of Service.

4. CHAPPIE ACCOUNT

4.1 Registration

You must register for a Chappie account to use the Chappie Services. By registering, you agree that all information provided during the registration process is accurate and that you will keep this information up to date.

4.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Bahut Limited immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

5. USE OF CHAPPIE SERVICES

5.1 Permitted Use

Chappie is designed to help Sinhalese speakers learn and practice English. You agree to use the Chappie Services only for this intended purpose and in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

5.2 Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Chappie Services for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Chappie Services
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Chappie Services or its related systems
  • Copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Chappie Services

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY AND CONFIDENTIALITY

6.1 Ownership

Bahut Limited owns all rights, title, and interest in and to the Chappie Services, including all intellectual property rights. You acknowledge that you are receiving a limited license to use the Chappie Services and that no ownership rights are being transferred to you.

6.2 Confidentiality Obligations

You agree to hold all Confidential Information in complete confidence and not disclose it without Bahut Limited's written consent.

7. PRIVACY

Your use of the Chappie Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms of Service by reference.

8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

The Chappie Services may integrate with or contain links to third-party websites or services. Bahut Limited is not responsible for the content or practices of these third-party services, and you access them at your own risk.

9. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE CHAPPIE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. BAHUT LIMITED DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

10. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BAHUT LIMITED SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

11. TERM AND TERMINATION

These Terms of Service shall be effective from the date you accept them and continue until terminated. Upon termination, you must cease all use of the Chappie Services.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

13. ARBITRATION

All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms of Service are to be determined by arbitration in London, UK, in accordance with the Arbitration Act 1996.

14. CHANGES TO TERMS OF SERVICE

Bahut Limited reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms of Service and updating the "Effective Date."
